Two perverts launched separate sick sprees at roughly the same time in Midtown this week, cops said Friday.
Police say Andrew Detres, 34 — who has previously been arrested at least 43 times, mainly for theft and robbery — first struck around 8:30 a.m. Thursday when he grabbed and slapped a 28-year-old woman’s buttock outside 250 E. 48th St. in Manhattan.
Less than a half-hour later, Detres assaulted another woman a few blocks south, at 739 Second Ave., where he grabbed and squeezed the buttocks of a 29-year-old woman, police said.
Detres then struck again just before 10 a.m. when he put his hand up a 43-year-old woman’s dress and grabbed her rear at 475 Park Ave., according to police. When the woman confronted him, he threw a soda can at her head, police said.
Detres was charged with three counts of forcible touching and sex abuse, police said. He was also slapped with assault for throwing the soda can, cops said.
The creep pulled off some of his crimes around the same time as 25-year-old Peter Simon Jean, authorities said.
Jean first targeted a 15-year-old girl just before 10 a.m. at 211 W. 53rd St., where he grabbed the teen from behind, put his hand up her skirt and touched her buttocks, cops said.
Police said he struck again a half-hour later at East 53rd Street and Second Avenue when he bear-hugged a 23-year-old woman.
Jean had stalked and tried to grab a 25-year-old woman moments earlier at East 53th Street and Third Avenue, but she managed to get away, cops said.
Police charged Jean with sex abuse, acting in a manner injurious to a child, attempted sex abuse and stalking.
According to law enforcement sources, cops have asked the Manhattan District Attorney’s Office to request that both men be held on at least some bail.
