NYC outdoor diner left injured after maniac chucks chair at him, steals phone

A crazed maniac hurled a chair at an unsuspecting man dining outside a Hell’s Kitchen pizzeria – and then grabbed the victim’s phone, which fell to the ground during the wild attack, according to shocking new video. 

The 66-year-old victim was left with a broken forearm bone, after the suspect approached him at a table outside Amore Pizza Cafe on West 58th Street near Ninth Avenue, suddenly picked up the chair and chucked it at his head, cops said Wednesday.

The impact caused the victim to drop his cell phone, cops said of the Sep. 9, 10:30 p.m. attack.

The attacker took the opportunity to pick the phone up off the ground and run off with it, the footage shows. 

The suspect picked up a chair from the outdoor table at Amore Pizza Cafe on West 58th Street near Ninth Avenue around 10:30 p.m. Sept. 9 and chucked it at a 66-year-old man sitting there, cops said.

He was taken to Mount Sinai West for treatment to his arm injury. 

Cops describe the suspect as a man with a dark complexion, last seen wearing a blue shirt and black and white checkered sneakers.
