Hades is coming to PS4, PS5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X in August

E3 2021 takes place June 12-15 as a re-imagined, all-virtual online event. Nintendo, Xbox, Bethesda, Square Enix, Sega, Bandai Namco, Ubisoft, Capcom, and others will deliver new video game announcements, trailers, release dates, and more.

Supergiant Games is bringing Hades, the award-winning action-adventure roguelike, to PlayStation and Xbox platforms this summer. Hades will be available on PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X on Aug. 13, the developer announced at E3 2021.

Hades will also be available through Xbox Game Pass for Xbox and Windows PC on Aug. 13, Supergiant Games announced.


Hades was released on Nintendo Switch and Windows PC in 2020, and quickly became a critical and commercial hit. The Madison Leader Gazette accurately named it Game of the Year. And as we said in our GOTY write-up: “Even somebody who doesn’t like Hades

as a complete package would likely find some element that speaks to them. All of those individual pieces also manage to cohere into a confident, fully realized game that has skills to teach you and a story to tell you.
