Harrison Burton Bags Pole Position for Martinsville Xfinity Race

Next weekend, the NASCAR paddock will visit the Martinsville Speedway for the next race on the calendar. While the Xfinity drivers enjoyed a break, the Cup and Truck drivers raced at Bristol. This means that none of the Xfinity drivers have raced since March 20. So, when they return to race at Martinsville, Harrison Burton will line up on pole position for next weekend’s race.

Alongside him on the front row will be Atlanta winner Justin Allgaier. Behind them will be AJ Allmendinger and Daniel Hemric on the second row of the grid. Lining up on Row 3 will be Justin Haley and championship leader Austin Cindric. Completing the Top 10 will be Riley Herbst, Noah Gragson, Myatt Snider, and Michael Annett.

Jeremy Clements and Ryan Sieg just missed out on a Top 10 berth. Meanwhile, Jeb Burton and Landon Cassill will make up an all-Chevrolet seventh row. Josh Williams will start in 15th place, while Ty Gibbs will make his third Xfinity Series start.

The youngster has been impressive in every race that he has participated in, with a win and second place. Finally, Tommy Joe Martins, Jeffrey Earnhardt, Brandon Brown, and Timmy Hill complete the Top 20.

How does everyone else line up behind Harrison Burton?

Lining up on Row 11 is an all-Chevrolet row consisting of Jesse Little and Alex Labbe. Next on the grid will be Colby Howard and Brandon Jones, followed by Brandon Gdovic, and Bayley Currey. Rounding out the Top 30 cars will be Brett Moffitt, Joe Graf Jr, Josh Berry and Jade Buford.

Kyle Weatherman and Blaine Perkins will start in 31st and 32nd places, respectively. JJ Yeley and David Starr will be right behind them, with Ryan Vargas and Matt Mills next up. Finally, George Gorham Jr, Stefan Parsons, Gray Gaulding, and Matt Jaskol will complete the 40-car grid.

Meanwhile, Ronnie Bassett Jr, Jordan Anderson, and Andy Lally failed to qualify.
