‘Ludicrous if It Doesn’t Happen’ – Mike Tyson Confident Francis Ngannou vs. Jon Jones Will Materialize

With a win over Stipe Miocic, Francis Ngannou made a staggering statement in the combat sports world. He overpowered the ex-champion in every department and claimed a win in the biggest fight of his career. Also, with this win, the long-discussed matchup between Jon Jones and Francis Ngannou has come into the picture for obvious reasons.

Several bigwigs from the combat sports fraternity wish to see the two stars collide with each other in a perfect setting. Recently, in a fresh Hotboxin podcast, ‘The Baddest Man on the Planet’, Mike Tyson gave his own take on the same.

He said, “I think it’s going to happen, ludicrous if it doesn’t happen. This right now all comes down to money, right? You know, how can they do this they both under contract, do we do it under the UFC, or do we do it under this and pay! You know what do you do, how do you do this stuff?”

Francis Ngannou vs Jon Jones – The biggest heavyweight clash of all time?

Ngannou and Jones both rank among the most elite MMA stars in the world at present. The pair have put their slick prowess to the test in every fight, and that’s how they’ve reached the peak of the sport.

The ‘Predator’ unleashed an altogether unique version in his rematch with Miocic and earned the heavyweight strap on the back of sheer hard work.

On the other hand, Jones vacated his light-heavyweight title a year ago to move up to the heavyweight division. In fact, he’s even molded himself into the heavyweight frame now and posts frequent updates of his transformation on his social handles.

More than anyone else, ‘Bones’ is himself keen to touch gloves with ‘The Predator’, but he’s just waiting for the right amount to be offered.

Fans are desperately waiting to see this matchup for the heavyweight title. And they expect positive news surrounding the same in the coming time, as Mike Tyson’s view about it not happening would be what combat sports fans all over the world will share.
