“He’s All Invested, All In” – Bubba Wallace on Michael Jordan’s Involvement in NASCAR Team 23XI Racing

Bubba Wallace and 23XI Racing co-owner Denny Hamlin have shown great optimism regarding the former’s gradual development with the team at the start of the NASCAR season. Wallace hasn’t exactly had results going his way, but the No. 23 car driver has made decent gains in recent weeks.

Even though the team is still developing, they have something the other teams do not have – the support and backing of the team’s majority owner, Michael Jordan.

Jordan’s words of advice and inputs can go a long way in helping 23XI Racing, and Wallace expressed that the NBA legend is quite ‘invested’ in helping 23XI Racing reach greater heights.

“He’s all invested, he’s all in. Everybody at this organization is all in to continue to grow and make it bigger th an what it is,”

Despite Jordan’s great understanding of NASCAR, team ownership and everything that comes with it is a different ball game. That is what Jordan is working on constantly, revealed Wallace.

As big as a fan as he is of the sport, I gotta tell you, he’s been watching since he was a kid, coming down with his father. It’s such a great story of how he got hooked into NASCAR,” Wallace said further.

“He’s still learning everything, especially from an ownership standpoint and actually having the skin of the game. He’s learning about everything,” the driver explained.

The former Richard Petty Motorsports driver had not met ‘MJ’ until the Daytona 500 to start the season. But since things officially kicked off in the season, Jordan has been in constant touch with everyone involved.

Don’t accept failure: Wallace on team owners and himself

Jordan’s competitive nature and ‘winning mentality’ have rubbed off on Wallace as well. The 27-year-old driver is happy with how things currently stand in the new and exciting outfit.

I’m sure he’s definitely blowing up Denny‘s phone a lot more than mine. Just making sure that everything’s on track and we’re shaped up in a perfect sense. Both MJ and Denny don’t accept failure. Neither do I,” Wallace expressed.

“I’m excited where I’m at. We always strive to be greater than we were the previous day,” he concluded on the same.

One can only imagine how exciting it must be for Wallace to team up with Jordan at such a big level. However, that also brings an added pressure on performance and it will be interesting to see how Wallace progresses at 23XI Racing.
