“Absolutely Brutal” – Triple H Reacts to The Wild Unsanctioned Match Between Adam Cole and Kyle O’Reilly at NXT TakeOver

NXT TakeOver: Stand and Deliver night 2 offered some real action for the fans to enjoy. The main event featured the unsanctioned match between Adam Cole and Kyle O’Reilly. Executive Producer of NXT, Triple H, was thrilled to spectate the match, and he didn’t shy away from showering his appreciation.

The main event match between the former members of The Undisputed Era offered the right amount of fierce rivalry and action, which is necessary to end the event on a high note. The 34th edition of the TakeOver was special, as it was the first time in its history that the event was organized over two nights.

While other bouts and challenges provided a well-baked cake to the audience, Adam and Kylie offered the perfect icing on the cake. The Game claimed he couldn’t have asked for a better ending to the second night.

Many alongside Triple H praised the match

The match began with hefty blows from either side. No one was ready to leave the ground for the opponent. Although everyone expected a fierce rivalry, little did anyone know that it would exceed everyone’s expectations.

Cole dominated the ring in time, and O’Rilley was looking clueless. However, after a heated exchange, specifically Cole’s claim of O’Rilley being ungrateful, fired up the American’s vigor.

After some offenses, a triangle choke from Kyle O’Reilly would’ve been critical for Cole. However, he was able to grab a tire iron quickly and evaded the hold.

Cole hit a Panama Sunrise, but Cole knocked the referee out prior to the move. This was an opportunity missed by Cole, which he’d regret later on in the match.

O’Reilly made a comeback with Last Shot delivered on Cole’s neck. Then, he was able to wrap the chain and brought Cole down. The ultimate count of three from the referee indicated Kylie O’Reilly’s victory against Adam Cole.

The match was enthralling, to say the least. Both the wrestlers had equal chances in claiming the victory. However, O’ Rilley was able to capitalize on the advantage. Therefore, he could taste the sweet flavor of victory.
