New NXT Champion Karrion Kross Sends a Stern Warning to the WWE Locker Room

Karrion Kross has finally completed his cycle. He won ‘the title he never lost’ at NXT TakeOver: Stand and Deliver as he defeated Finn Balor for the NXT Title. Kross is now the fourth person to win the title twice.

Following the victory, Kross took to social media and sent out a cryptic, ominous message. He wrote, “Time is not a line, but a series of now-points. And now, I am the new beginning. Get ready.”

To this, his girlfriend and manager Scarlett proclaimed, “The world is ours.” Kross agreed and sent an eerie GIF of a forest fire. You can check out their exchange below.

Following his initial title win from Keith Lee at TakeOver: XXX, Kross suffered a separated shoulder and relinquished the title for four days. This made his title reign at four days, the shortest in the history of the title.

On December 9, 2020, he returned to NXT and attacked Damien Priest. Kross had a brief feud with Cruiserweight Champion Santos Escober. Kross defeated Escobar in a street fight before turning his attention to NXT Champion Finn Balor.

Following a confrontation between Balor and Kross, the match was set. Both men tried to overpower the other, but Kross emerged victoriously.

Ahead of his match, Kross told Dazn how the win will mean everything to him. “It would be an event symbolic of coming completely full circle to getting knocked off the path and getting back on track to where we’re supposed to be.

He explained further, “Every single thing that’s happened to me, every single thing that’s happened in my career, it comes full circle. It means something to get that belt back and defend it in a manner in which I was supposed to. It will mean everything.”

Kross also stated how he is the change people want to see, “I feel like my story right now is a success over the status quo. People don’t like the status quo. They don’t like it. If you think about it like that, I am the change that people are always asking for. I am the change that people are always looking for.”

The Twitter warning is for the men’s locker room as Kross proclaimed he was here to stay this time. Let us know your thoughts in the comments below.
